Summer Savory. Putting the S in Spice and Sunlight in your plate.
5,95 €
Summer Savory grows in the warm shade of its friends Thyme and Rosemary, but you can count on it to steal the spotlight! Whether to spice up a plate of lentils, to give a subtle tang to game meat, or fresh on a goat cheese toast - just sprinkle it on top, and bon appetit! Its secret weapon: its natural properties that heal any stomachache, one herbal tea at a time.
"Summer Savory can help with bug bites! Just pick a leaf or two, and rub them all over to relieve any itch. Its flowers have a very pretty pale pink colour." — Our mate the gardener
Summer Savory tastes spicier fresh than dried. Use it generously in your salads, soups, vinaigrettes and stuffings!
Your indoor garden supplies all ingredients for a beautiful harvest: water, light and nutrients. In the case of a pod that doesn't sprout (which can happen as we work with natural materials), we will send you a new pod free of charge. Take a look at our FAQ.
Our seeds all come from French seed sellers. More than half of our seeds are organic. The substrate in which they grow is made from coconut peat and coir. The Pods are made out of bioplastic and are biodegradable: when your plants grow tired you can repot them or compost them.
includes all the ingredients needed to ensure the best growth possible for your plants: water, light, and nutrients. If your pod happens to be a little mischievous (which can happen, as with every other living product), we'll send you another pod! You can check out our FAQ for more information.
* Almost all of the seeds we work with are organic.
The pod
Thanks to our patented Float® design, you only have one thing to do: add water once every two or three weeks when the floater sinks. The plant takes all mineral salts it needs out of the water (these are released into the water over the weeks). Discover the Prêt à Pousser technology.
Your Summer Savory will grow stronger the more you cut it. Its stems are very thin at the start - regularly cut the top of the bush while leaving at least 15cm of stem length, and it will grow fuller and stronger!
Always check that your lamp is 5cm above your plants at most. If your lamp is too far away, your plants are going to fall down the sides.
