In the cabbage family, swede's great-twice-removed-cousin Mizuna is the star of Japanese cooking. With subtly jagged leaves, we're bringing rugged looks to the table. We've even written a haiku: a plate in waiting, a tasty Mizuna leaf, a hint of springtime.

Green Mizuna resembles salad rocket but without the bitterness. The crunchy and slightly peppery leaves are perfect for a lunchbox mixed salad, tossed together with the mustard leaves from next door and a sesame and soy sauce dressing. Can also be cooked into a raw fish, mango and persimmon tartare, don't forget to bring your ninja knife skills.
Your indoor garden supplies all ingredients for a beautiful harvest: water, light and nutrients. In the case of a pod that doesn't sprout (which can happen as we work with natural materials), we will send you a new pod free of charge. Take a look at our FAQ.
Our seeds all come from French seed sellers. More than half of our seeds are organic. The substrate in which they grow is made from coconut peat and coir. The Pods are made out of bioplastic and are biodegradable: when your plants grow tired you can repot them or compost them.

Thanks to our patented Float® design, you only have one thing to do: add water once every two or three weeks when the floater sinks. The plant takes all mineral salts it needs out of the water (these are released into the water over the weeks). Discover the Prêt à Pousser technology.
Yes, the roots of your Mizuna can leave a strong smell to the water. However, don't change the water, it contains all the nutrients.
It would be best to have your Mizuna in the most left or right pot of your indoor garden. This way it will have a bit more space..
In order to stay well-stocked and make the most of your crunchy and peppery Green Mizuna, we recommend a clean-cut at the plant's base. This harvest method does not allow the plant to regrow. There you have it, simply enjoy your Green Mizuna and toss the pod into compost in order to make room for new seeds!
